Master strip appears in most of the modules. It shows the brief details of
the account relating to the selected row in most modules. There are nine
important parts of master strip as shown in the picture:-
Part 1:
It displays the Mailing Information of the Account. Double clicking on this
part will take you to master updation module in editing mode for selected
account. Alternatively you may press 'Ctrl+Shift+M'. The focus of the
Input cursor shall be on mailing information of the account.
Part 2:
It displays the contact information of the account. Double clicking on this
part will take you to master updation module in editing mode for the
selected account. The focus of the Input cursor shall be on Contact
information of the account.
Part 3:
It displays the TIN/CST No. of the selected account. Double clicking on this
part will take you to master updation module in editing mode for the
selected account. The focus of the Input cursor shall be on TIN No.
prompt. Right clicking on this part shall show you the opening balance,
total debits, total credits & closing balance of the account.
Part 4:
In some of the modules, part 4 i.e. the words 'A/c:' appears before the
head of account. If Part 4 appears in the master strip you may open the
statement of account by pressing '/' key from your keyboard.
Part 5:
Double click on this part will take you to master updation module in editing
mode for this account. The focus of the Input cursor shall be on Account
Name.
Part 6:
Double clicking on this part opens the statement of account of the selected
account. If it is an unmoved account, the balance amount shall appear in 'Black' color. However if any entry exist in the current financial year
pertaining to this account, the color of balance shall be 'Yellow'.
Part 7:
Clicking on this part invokes the Master Module.
Part 8:
You may Edit / View the Master Notes attach with the Account. If there is
no note is attached then the color of image is Black as shown below
otherwise it is Red as shown in above picture.
Whenever you open a statement of account, you will be shown the master
notes automatically if any note exist for that account.
Part 9:
You may dial a Number through Phone Dialer by clicking on Part-9. All
Numbers saved in master are available in List. You may choose the desired
number or input any other number. You may also send the SMS by
inserting the SMS text prompt. Your mobile phone should be pre-configured through Bluetooth before using this facility. See help topic Configuring Mobile/Bluetooth
