Sometimes you need to show closing stock of some packing material,
printing & stationary, postage etc. in P&L. In case of doctors, you may
need to show stock of medicines in Income & Expenditure account.
To do so, you should open a stock account like "Stock Printing &
Stationery" & mark the B/S class "Stock P&L/ I&E" with it. Further you
should specify the relevant closing stock in memo stock. To show P&L
stock you have to choose Memo Stock option in final accounts. GP rate,
calculate stock etc. options cannot be used if you want to show stock in
P&L account.
