How to Take Backup.
By default, You may take backup on the Drive in which Visual Catpro is
installed. You may also take backup on any external Drive like Pen Drive,
CD Drive, Portable Hard Disk, Data Card etc.
Why Backup is not allowed(By default) on all Partition/Drives of
the Hard Disk.
This is to avoid any confusion about the latest backup taken. However, you
may take backup on all drives/partitions by changing the settings.
Steps to take backup :-
Step 1 : Click "Backup" button of main menu.
Step 2: Current firm is checked/selected automatically. You may select
other firms also. You may take backup of current year or all the
years for which data is available.
Note : "Backup options" panel appears only when you check the
"Advance" option.
Step 3. Select the Drive on which you want to take backup. The Drive
should be the Drive in which Visual Catpro is installed or some
External Drive.
Step 4. Click on "Backup" Button to start backup. It will prompt you to
enter the password. You must enter a password for your backup file.
Note: Remember your password. You can't restore backup
without that password.
